Academic Program
Participants studying Kyrgyz or Uzbek will receive approximately 15 hours per week of classroom instruction, led by expert faculty from leading local universities and educational institutions. Courses are designed to strengthen speaking, listening, reading, and writing proficiency in the language of study. American Councils regional offices, employing more than 375 expatriates and host-country nationals, provide logistical support for participants on the Eurasian Regional Language Program. Read More
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Eurasian Regional Language Program in Kyrgyzstan, applicants must have completed at least one year of college-level study of Kyrgyz, Uzbek, or Russian. Read More
